Rehearsals look great and the performance is cast with talented kids from Tuscaloosa County. Purchase your ticket early, this is going to be a sell out.

I just saw the play (Tuesday afternoon). I loved it. I got lost in the show. The script is perfect; the set is great; the costumes are great; the music is wonderful and the acting is superb. I can tell the show was well directed. It sure made me miss working with Tuscaloosa Children's Theatre. I will see The Producers on Broadway tomorrow night. I hope I enjoy it as much as I enjoyed your show.

I saw portions of several rehearsals, performances, and the finale show on Sunday of Pinocchio. Kristen Frangoulis is one of the most fabulous educators in Tuscaloosa County. Both in the classroom and on the stage, she takes children to a higher level of learning in a tremendously positive environment. Bravo Kristen!!! Thank you for all that you do for our kids. Wouldn't it be great to have a fine arts school for our county. Kids thrive in her creative environment!!!

Positive Review by Wesley King on March 24, 2003 writes:
This was my first play, and I loved it! I look forward to doing other plays and working with great directors and music directors! I can't wait until the next play, Honk!

Positive Review by Joni Esser-Stuart on March 27, 2003 writes:
I loved the Pinocchio show and want to congratulate the entire cast and crew for working so hard. The show was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the arts and the creative energies of the Tuscaloosa community. I am appalled that too many residents and administrators fail to appreciate the value of arts in the lives of children and adults. We have benefitted by having wonderful, caring , committed, talented, and creative teachers for our children within the Tuscaloosa County School System (including Kristen Frangoulis) but we have decided to send our daughter, Elizabeth, to the Alabama School of Fine Arts this fall so she can pursue her dreams and aspirations within an even more challenging and creative environment. It is an extremely hard decision since we will miss her company, humor and presence during the week.

Lincoln was so good! He was Gino all the way. I would love to see him in another main role. He would be a great James in "James in the Giant Peach". GO LINCOLN!

Positive Review by Saw This Show on June 25, 2004 writes:
I came and saw this on the Sunday matinee, and let me tell you, the scary, yet so hilarious, monkey with the cymbols was great. I'm not sure who even played the part, but if everyone in that show had the energy that person had on stage, this show would've been great. I'll admit, no regrets of it, that some of the principle casting wasn't the best it could've been, but over all its was a good show. So...if any one knows who was the monkey, tell me!
